Job description
We are recruiting an experienced Electrical -Mechanical Engineer; With a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector. The job entails alternation between the office & site. It might as well require the flexibility of short travels to sites outside Lebanon mainly in Africa and other Middle East countries.
Overview: The Engineer shall carry the major role in all the stages of the project; He/She must have good planning & implementation skills. Renewable & Solar project encompasses different solutions; the Engineer must be well aquatinted with the solutions and integration of the different On-Grid, Hybrid, PCS, Storage & SCADA systems. Experience in electrical engineering & management will be of an extreme asset to secure the effectiveness, unfailing and smooth operation of the Project
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Management
- Coordinating submittals with consultants.
- Electrical System Design.
- Equipment Procurement.
- Commissioning and Testing.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs.
- Tendering & Project Documentation.
Requirements:
- Lebanese National
- A minimum of BA/BS in Electrical Engineering (ME, MBA/EMBA is a plus)
- Registered in the Order OF Engineers.
- Established experience of minimum 5 years preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Computer and CAD skills is a MUST.
- Flexibility to travel on work missions outside Lebanon ( Middle East & Africa )
- Excellent communication abilities; Good command of English (Spoken/Written) French is a Plus.
- Driving License
- Preference for Graduates prior to 2018.
- Preferably living within a relatively close distance to company offices in Beirut (< around 30min Drive)
